This is the kit for the Raspberry Pi 3. Why this kit?
Compared with the Raspberry Pi Zero, the Raspberry Pi 3 is a little bit closer to a traditional PC. It has four USB A sockets, which is regarded by most people as the normal USB socket. It has a HDMI socket instead of a Mini HDMI socket found on the Raspberry Pi Zero. It also has an Ethernet port for wired networking. It also has an audio output, which is lacking on the Raspberry Pi Zero. It does have one thing shared with the Raspberry Pi Zero, which also has a micro USB socket for power.
Because of the above features, many accessories for the Raspberry Pi Zero are not needed by the Raspberry Pi 3. One of the most obvious things is the 4-port USB Hub we have included in our starter kit for the Raspberry Pi Zero. For most projects, 4 USB sockets is enough.
