The Wug Robot LIDAR Accu Series was started as a research project and has gradually grown into a product that can be used by individual and business.
The Wug Robot LIDAR Accu 1 is a 2 dimensional LIDAR that measures distance to objects on a plane. Data is output through a serial interface. Originally designed for the robotics industry, it can be used in many other areas.

Sample Use Case 1: Autonomous
In this case, the data receiving device is part of control unit. Everything is contained on the vehicle, allowing autonomous movement.
- The LIDAR detects distance and sends data to the control device through the serial port. The control unit receives the serial data and processes it
- The control unit makes a decision based on processed data and generates commands
- The control unit sends commands to the power unit and drives the vehicle
Sample Use Case 2: Remote Control
In this case, the data receiving device is separated from the control unit on the vehicle. The data receiving device communicates with a remote device. That device then communicates with control unit on the vehicle and then controls the vehicle.
- The LIDAR detects distance and sends data to the control device through the serial port. The data receiving device then sends data to the remote device through WiFi or other method
- The remote device receives and processes the data
- An application or a human will make a decision based on the processed data
- Commands are sent back to the control unit on the vehicle
- The control unit sends commands to the power unit and drives the vehicle
